Yes, you read it right... Late September Nites... 2 years ago (2005), we moved to July to avoid all the Mid September shows here locally. Unfortunately, July was not a good choice of a date for our show. So the decision has been made to move the show to the last week end of September since there does not seem to be many car shows in the area that particular weekend. So beginning in 2007, we will no longer be formerly known as, instead we will once again be Late September Nites.

With all the car shows that have been moving around date wise this year, we made a decision earlier this year to move what we had been calling the Late September Nites Cool Cars for Charity Car Show here in Hughson. Instead of continuing with the September date, we chose the 4th Saturday of July as the official date from now on. The date change required us to also change the name from Late September Nites to Mid Summer Nites. The show for it's first time on the new date with the new name seem to be a hit.

We had around 130 rods registered, a Huge Raffle, Silent Auction, Live Auction and we even gave away an older model Pick-up Truck. Of course we were still in the middle of the heat wave here in the Central Valley, so it was an extremely warm day for the show, but it didn't seem to put a damper on the show. The live entertainment by Roddy Jackson (The Music Man) & Soloist Lori Sousa Jackson was great, and the BBQ was a hit.
